My failed attempt at attending my high school reunion was not my fault…..they cancelled it, unfortunately.

i was actually looking forward to seeing people whom I cannot recall, but still were among the mass in class and who have this ability to remember me……

Damn you vacuous-minded man…..damn you to hell…..

It doesn’t interest me what you do for a living. I want to know what you ache for, and if you dare to dream of meeting your souls longing.

It doesn’t interest me how old you are. I want to know if you will risk looking like a fool for love, for your dreams, for the adventure of being alive.

It doesn’t interest me what planets are squaring your moon. I want to know if you have touched the center of your own sorrow, if you have been opened by life’s betrayals or have become shriveled and closed from fear of further pain! I want to know if you can sit with pain, mine or your own, without moving to hide it or fade it, or alter it.

I want to know if you can be with joy, mine or your own, if you can dance with wildness and let the ecstasy fill you to the tips of your fingers and toes without cautioning us to be careful, to be realistic, or to remember the limitations of being human.

It doesn’t interest me if the story you are telling me is true. I want to know if you can disappoint another to be true to yourself; if you can bear the accusation of betrayal and not betray your own soul; if you can be faithless and therefore trustworthy.

I want to know if you can see beauty even when it’s not pretty, every day, and if you can source your own life from its presence.

I want to know if you can live with failure, yours and mine, and still stand on the edge of the lake and shout to the silver of the full moon, “Yes!”

It doesn’t interest me to know where you live or how much money you have. I want to know if you can get up, after the night of grief and despair, weary and bruised to the bone, and do what needs to be done to feed the rebound.

It doesn’t interest me who you know or how you came to be here. I want to know if you will stand in the center of the fire with me and not shrink back.

It doesn’t interest me where or what or with whom you have studied. I want to know what sustains you, from the inside, when all else falls away.

I want to know if you can be alone with yourself and if you truly like the company you keep in those empty moments.

I want to know if you will walk beside me.

Last Wednesday [September 29 2004] on the Oprah show, Cameron Diaz was going on about her politics and insisting on how important it is to vote in the upcoming election. In the course of her diatribe she said the following and I quote verbatim:

“If you think rape should be legal then don’t vote”

UNBELIEVABLE!

In my view there is a direct link between this kind of outrageous thinking and the propaganda disseminated and propagated by radical humans. They have created a mindset, especially among activist women and their allies, that imagine and permit the most incredible and salacious claims. They have created, among even the most well intentioned and innocent of women, a siege mentality that imagines a world of men waiting around every corner to rape and batter them. And even to make it all legal.

From me to you Cameron Diaz:
“YOU ARE A MORON, SO PLEASE SHUT THE FUCK UP!”

Flattery REALLY does get you candy corn, as once believed!

“Naturally, the common people don’t want war … but after all it is the leaders of a country who determine the policy, and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is to tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in every country.”

: Hermann Goering
