This is utter nonsense!!!

After speaking with comrades all over the South-East USA……I have come to the realization that this is probably one of the worst NYE event[s]planning in my life. In particular this NYE seems to be !THE WORST! in terms of events planned for what some call ‘the scene’, in all my ten years involved. [and this includes music other than electronika as well!]

Nothing really major going down in DC……Richmond VA……Knoxville TN……Roanoke VA……Triad NC……Atlanta GA……Raleigh NC……Nashville TN…….

If we are to go the route of electronic mayhem…..we would only have Sharaz in Nashville TN……tired azz Dieselboy in Charlotte NC and finally a number of ‘local’ whoa-downs in select cities >>> Knoxville/Richmond/Baltimore/Atlanta/Columbia/Charleston

I had hoped that Atlanta would come thru…..but the most we have there is:
1- Nothing at Masquerade
2- Sector 9 at The Tabernacle = SOLD OUT
3- J-Luv at Eleven50
4- Little Jen & Nasir at The Mark Atlanta [Played at that place before and it is NICE!]

Starting in 2005 [AGAIN] it is time to dust off the ABA moniker that has been tarnished by the irresponsible ‘cats’ of my crew…..and for me to locate a good venue and to begin throwing events again.

With no competition from the now MIA mythos and tonic……and little competition from both sky and liquid [those clubs are lackluster at best]…..it is about time I become, yet again, a part of the promoting fray and hope for the best. I don’t expect to bring or do anything inspirational……pioneering…..or something that hasn’t been done before [but who knows], but I CAN GUARANTEE you one thing…..

I WILL CERTAINLY DO THINGS DIFFERENTLY……economically/financially/promotionally/
artistically/ETC….but most of all I will dibble in variety!!!!! This sphere of promotion has certainly been lacking in Charlotte ever since moving here.
