in G.O.D. you trust

   Posted by: AUDIOMIND   in Uncategorized

The intellectual love towards g.o.d. is the very love of g.o.d. with which g.o.d. loves himself, not in so far as he is infinite, but in so far as he can be expressed through the essence of the human mind considered under the species of eternity, that is, intellectual love towards g.o.d. is part of the infinite love with which g.o.d. loves himself….

Hence it follows that g.o.d., in so far as he loves himself, loves man, and consequently that the love of g.o.d. for ‘man’ and the mind’s intellectual love towards g.o.d. is one and the same thing.

Tin Foil is your Friend!

The SFGate is reporting on a remote control for manipulating humans through electrical stimulation of the inner ear nerves. The author of this article describes his experience with having a “remote control for humans” device used on him. The developers hope to use this with video games and other entertainment, but it might also be used as a weapon to disable people. An interesting read with perhaps some disturbing implications. Better get a second layer on those tinfoil hats!

Kodak Cranks Out 39-megapixel CCD

Topic: Cameras

Though the company has long since shifted its camera-making focus to the low-to mid-range consumer market, Eastman Kodak announced yesterday that it has produced two new CCDs that set a new high-water mark for imaging power. The 31.6- and 39-megapixel image sensors will be offered to camera and camera-body manufacturers, and may begin appearing in some professional digicams some time in 2006. The good news for the rest of us is that by almost doubling performance at the highest-end of the CCD spectrum, Kodak’s new sensors may indirectly help push costs down for consumer-grade CCDs.

Hate to see how much that one cost!

A Conversation Between Me & a Military Recruiter

   Posted by: AUDIOMIND   in Uncategorized

It all started when I received an unsolicited email from this recruiter, who suggested I join the ranks of the inept……….in which I immediately responded that he was nuts to suggest that anyone with even a trivial grasp of current events [and past] and the facts, would even remotely consider joining the ranks of the inept and ignorant.

Here is his response to that, my response after and his final response [all unedited], which I will leave at that, allowing him to soak it all in……

[spam]RE: What can you do for todays Army, This is what we can do for you![/spam]

Dear ‘ME’,

Well I thank you for your non support but I do not support the war in Iraq but being there 2 times and to Afganistan once I do support the troops that are deployed. I do also believe that the politicians were wrong to send us to Iraq but if you do not like the government or the freedom that you so treasure please move out of this country like I said before I do not support the war in Iraq but the troops have no choice but to be there. And further more I personally do not think that the military budget is bloated because I know how much the avrege soldier gets paid and for the protection that we give to you I think that the military and police should get paid even more. Why you may ask its because we put our lives and families on the line everyday so that you can go to college and live your life without ever knowing how many threats this country receves every single day that CNN and MSNBC never even know about witch in turn the public never knows about it’s a lil thing called homeland security witch falls under the militarys budget. And Chris I will remove you from my list but just know that it is up to soldiers like me and ones that have died before me to give you your freedom. We soldiers are a part of something bigger than you could ever imagine. Have a safe and prosperious life and thank you for you contribution to society as a whole. Us in the MILITARY thank you for your trust in our government.

Sincerely,
SGT. Daniel Dunn

Look……..I certainly did not mean to come off as an ass in the last email,
however, this whole fiasco in Iraq has gotten me in an uproar.

The truth of the matter is, is that on a personal level all soldiers have the ability to make a conscious choice………..to go or not to go and claim conscientious objector status. To some that may seem cowardly and silly, but it is fairly obvious that the whole Iraq debacle will lead to a conclusion we have already seen. [vietnam, but worse] Why die for a cause that is not noble……..that has been proven to be unjustified and based on falsehoods and fabrications?

Afghanistan was more then justified, but the Iraq invasion was one of the worst mistakes on record, IMO.

And no, I will not move to another country based on claims of how my freedoms are being protected. The country needed absolutely no protection from Saddam, BUT FROM TERRORISTS……which we helped create during the Cold War and subsequently ‘agitated’ after the first Gulf War. Why should I high tail it out of the probably the best country in the world……[since we are speaking in cliches?]………especially when I see serious issues, american society, corrupt government and politicians increasingly deteriorating into absurdity, with no sense of accountability or restraint?

I’m here to claim FOUL…..and to help deter the doomed path we are on………and I will not run away, but CONFRONT the madness I am witness to in BIG & CORRUPT GOVERNMENT…..and that resides in the minds of these nutty Neo_Cons:
http://www.newamericancentury.org/defensenationalsecurity.htm

These two links will forward you to two long threads that reflect just some of the reasons why I feel that we as US citizens are being betrayed by our own government in modern times [take the time if you're serious]:
http://spins.us/FORUM/viewtopic.php?t=13078
http://spins.us/FORUM/viewtopic.php?t=8699&postdays=0&postorder=asc&star
t=120

And no……I’m not a liberal……….but a conservative, if you can believe that, with libertarian leanings.

And yes the ‘War Budget’ is far too obese considering that the DOD 2005 budget is well over $420 BILLION, which is a large percentage of GDP, [which is insane], especially considering that we have MUCH MORE pressing needs at home. [Katrina and Rita come to the top of my head.]
http://www.defenselink.mil/comptroller/defbudget/fy2005/

If the DOD and Homeland Security were really concerned about the American People [Katrina demonstrated the fallacy of that], we would be handling domestic issues………like patrolling our borders in a SERIOUS FASHION. The 100s of 1000s of illegals who come across the border every year are proof enough that we are far from secure, yet where is the bloated and overgrown government on these issues?

NOWHERE!!!!!

Sad to say, but the current political atmosphere is corrupting this country and bankrupting its finances, soul, spirit, founding principles and its future generations, for a supposedly noble [*cough*], but lost cause.

History is proof enough of that.

You find me a war worth fighting and dying for…….for true freedom and democracy, and not some pipe dream fantasy conjured up with false claims of WMD, and I’ll fight the battle with absolutely no fear or hesitation.

ME

SGT Daniel Dunn replied:

Dear ‘ME’,

I can see where you are coming from but like I said I agree with Afganistan but not Iraq. But in being true to myself and my fellow soldiers I would go back to Iraq for a third time or afganistan for a second and lay my life on the line so that just one of my friends could come home to his family. I will not die for this country but for the soldiers who protect it I will gladly give my life. I do agree with you that the government is corrupt and actions need to be taken to force government officals to be held accountable for their actions. And if you are willing to stand up to a corrupt government then you are willing to fight a war that most men are afraid of fighting. I do also agree with you that we as a country need to take care of what is going on here instead of being the worlds police force. But the thing I don’t understand is how you can say that the DOD budget is bloated when the Air Force and the Navy are both being down sized and the Army cant even reach its recruting goal. I do thank you for your opinion it is your right to voice that opinion but out of all the soldiers I talk to most don’t agree with the whole Iraq situation. They are there for the same reason I would go back in an instant and that is for the fellow soldiers to watch over them and make sure they do everything they can to bring everyone home alive. Yes there are the things we cant control but we do everything we can for eachother. And on a final note I apaloigze to you if I came off as rude or not concerned of your feelings. I do also agree with you on most of the facts you have brought up but unlike you I have a job to do so I must keep going on I am a soldier and it was a choice I made and a life style I will always cherish. I love my country and my profession but do not agree with the way things are run sometimes.

Memorable QUOTE + More DV Statistics

“This is the excellent foppery of the world, that, when we are sick in fortune, — often the surfeit of our own behavior, — we make guilty of our disasters the sun, the moon, and the stars; as if we were villains on necessity, fools by heavenly compulsion, knaves, thieves, and treachers by spherical predominance, drunkards, liars, and adulterers by an enforc’d obedience of planetary influence, and all that we are evil in, by a divine thrusting on.”

more bias involving the PBS documentary about PAS

   Posted by: AUDIOMIND   in Uncategorized

Yet another article by a “wish-I-was-a” feminazi biznatch, who hates his own testicles.

Is anyone surprised? I’m not.

The enemy, including most notably PBS and it’s feminazi producers and sycophant eunuchs like Bob Port of the Times Union (NY), justify their own bias by carefully selecting a few cases apparently involving male abuse to extrapolate ALL cases, thus publicly feeding the anti-male, anti-father court bias.

It could make exactly the SAME point AGAINST mothers by carefully selecting a few mother abuse cases to make it’s point.

Notice how the eunuch Port says we need to “trust mothers to be mothers”. Well, if Port and his feminazi queens would get their heads out of the sand and look at government statistics on child abuse and gender incidence this would mean trusting the party who commits the most cases of abuse, not including the stepfathers and boyfriends who perpetrate a significant amount too. Natural fathers are the LEAST likely to commit abuse over the general population (unless of course you use selected examples to generalize).

However, if we were to exonerate fathers, WHO would be feeding the government child support coffers???

Notice, quite glaringly, how they [he] do [does] not have a single respondent discuss his or her horror stories at the hands of an abusive mother, nor provide any factual basis for their claims with statistics/links/etc. Also notice how he (and PBS) parrot the usual feminazi tactics of explaining men’s efforts to obtain custody of their own children in terms of seeking a better financial deal and how they use the amorphous term of “emotional” child abuse against children.

Funny how sadistic horror stories like Andrea Yates gets pushed under the rug, or disregarded entirely, but a man can fart in the wrong direction and his ex will charge abuse.

Andrea Yates, the Texas woman who drowned her 5 children
http://www.chron.com/content/chronicle/special/01/drownings/index.html

Male chauvinism and feminism have formed an evil union and as far as I can see, there is nothing foreseeable in the next several decades that can change it, or their campaign of misandry and propaganda foisted on the public.

The judiciary and public are like conditioned rats when it comes to fathers – it only takes one reinforcement of a strong behaviour (e.g., a story of male abuse) to establish a prejudice that is immune to a thousand rebuttals and forms a strong “perception.” It doesn’t work this way for mothers [a majority of 'custodial parents']. Mothers are sacrosanct no matter what they do (as if the human brain refuses to acknowledge the act in its sensory experience). Fathers are abusive no matter what the facts (the brain refuses to drop its strong prejudice, no matter what the evidence is in front of it). Judges will go out of their way to minimize or even ignore or refuse to believe bad behavior on the part of mothers because it doesn’t conform to their prejudice – - so they continue to make the dad wrong even where the mother is a criminal and the father perfectly fit.

Of course we know that this is not the goal of the documentary…….to make the system fair for all, but to insure mothers always receive custody and the father always be a servant to forced peonage.

The system ONLY works when it works for them.

Don’t you just love their commitment to equal rights and equal protection under the law? Unless it works to their favor, ALL the TIME, it is a screwed up system, not half the time, or even based on an objective standard, which applies equally to all, but a standard wholly and solely based on nothing more than their gender. If this is not a case of extreme bias, I don’t know what the hell is.

So how many people will fall for this BS story?

“You can fool some of the people all of the time, and all of the people some of the time, but you can not fool all of the people all of the time.”
-Abraham Lincoln (1809–1865)

The Piracy Lunacy

   Posted by: AUDIOMIND   in Uncategorized

—————————————————————————————————–
It is estimated that piracy costs the entertainment and software industries tens of billions of dollars.
————————————————————————————————-

The concept of pirating has knocked a few ‘linguistical’ screws loose in all impending DRM arguments IMO…….take for instance the 4-3v3r touted preposterous figure above [BS].

The music/software/movie/etc industries !MAY!-[emphasis] not make tens of billions of dollars, but I hardly believe that they “lose” that much. IME and ‘research’, most of the stuff downloaded or bought illegally is generally something a person wouldnt buy anyway, primarily bc of the cost. For instance, people don’t want to spend $80 for a software program, especially if they can download it for free or buy it off some random street vendor guy for 5 bucks.

When that happens, they [the RIAA/MPAA/software vendors/etc] don’t lose $80 because the person never would have bought the software/music/movie in the first place, instead they just didn’t make the $80.

Same thing with CD’s/DVD’s…………

Someone isn’t going to buy a certain CD for 13 bucks, when they can get it for free or for a few bucks. So the artist didn’t necessarily lose $13 because they were never going to make that $$$ in the first place.

So that ‘figure’ above is bloated and full of crap……..regardless of the fact that I do not condone TRUE copyright/patent violations.
