I’m in need of becoming a padowan PHOTOSHOP CS2 learner TO a PHOTOSHOP CS2 JEDI MASTER
[ex. http://www.opticalblasphemy.com/p_dcon.html], as this CS2 shit-natz is hard as sin to get my head around…..

These are some of the more elementary images I am attempting to creatively interweave, as an example of what I’m trying to achieve……fofl…..DON’T LAUGH SUCKA! Last time I attended a ‘shop class was back in 2001 and it only briefly covered Photoshop 5, Freehand, PageMaker & QuarkXPress…….

    the two original images………

    ………

    ADVICE? SUGGESTIONS? GIVE UP?

The mask[ing], vanishing point, ‘blending’ and filtering tools are my biggest problems…

      1. Hey, if it doesn’t involve paint and paper, I have NO clue. I steal all my icons. So you get big props from me.

      2. The problem you’re having here is that you’re using two images that are completely night and day from each other. The angle is completely off from the original and therefore it doesn’t look the same.

Using the layer mask is easy. Click on layer mask, then use the paintbrush to take parts of the image you don’t want away. Black takes it away, white brings it back. Set the opacity of your brush accordingly.

Blending is also pretty easy, just screw with the layer properties, you know, overlay, hardlight etc… until you find one that somewhat gets to where you want it.

Yea, I’ve attempted to connect night and day…I know…..but I did so purposely to make it difficult.

The angle I wasn’t too worried about, just the blending and overlaying textures mostly…..

          Still learning, as always…..

Maybe when I’m over on the west coast you can teach me one day….fofl…
