It’s been quite a while since I’ve seen such intensity within a lightning storm. NC isn’t one of the highest ranked ground-strike areas in the nation for nothing and has certainly earned its rank. It’s kind of funny, considering that its ‘lightning safety awareness week’, at least according to the National Weather Service.

Unfortunately, I only caught the tail end of the storm because my dumbass forgot the camera at the house like usual. (So these shots hardly display the worst of it.) However, these are the shots I was able to catch before it fizzled out and moved on.

This new film is far less political than previous films and gives us a disturbing look into the dismal reality facing many ‘victims’ of the modern American health care system.

And the best part is is that MM doesn’t care that this video is being shared, unlike the mafiaa studio hordes.

Enjoy.
Before I post the link, can anyone recommend a good low-light (Nikon or generic) environment lens to use with a Nikon d70s? The one I have currently sucks and the store I usually frequent went bankrupt. I frequently find myself in club and nighttime environments and hate having to lug around the tripod and/or use the flash.
Cheers.

It’s hard to imagine a time when it was common for American women to try to put *on* weight. But thanks to this awesome 1934 ad we know it happened.
