Well, it strikes me that if he is so concerned about his fellow soldiers, yet disagrees with the war and wants to fight for people in Americas freedom, he could always stage a military coup and get rid of someone who rigged an election to win it and is probably the single biggest threat to world peace since WW2... ;)
hmmm-not too serious a suggestion that, Im being frivoulous.

In reply to audiomind.

I noticed where he says "I agree with Afganistan but not Iraq" (dont know if thats the ones you noticed or not).
Especially when it has become so very apparent over time that this war is not about fighting terrorists.. Like I said to that one guy on a forum "If this was about terrorism, then how come Suddame was caught so quick yet they can't find Osam, who is 84338 levels BELOW Suddames rank?"
I dont remember Suddame leading a bunch of guys to hijack planes and ram them into shit in America...

I think he already knows what youre saying, hun. But he can't just back out of a awr he signed up for, especially when he knows a new house and car rely on it. Thats why a lot of the guys who are over there are over there. A while back they didnt even know they were going to Iraq. Like with my friend whitney's husband, he was told they would probably not even need him and now he's spent at least 4 years all over the middle east watching his freinds get their heads blown and chopped off and having nightmares about the people he had to kill in his own defense... Just so he could buy a house for his new wife and baby.
Thats how the shit goes.
You either be lucky and have rich parents who will pay your way through a good college then get a highly paid career (or be black and get a special scholarship for being black), or you take the "easy" way out and join the army.
A lot of the people who join don't know nearly as much what you do of the US government, hun. I know a couple guys who went just because like my friends husband, theyw ere told they most likely wouldnt even have to do anything but would get paid after 3 years, so they joined, and either still havent got paid or only got paid a miniscule amount of what they were promised, and for what? Those 2 guys I knew just wanted a car and some turn tables.. now theyre dead.
I also think its fucked up how they claim "homeland security", when like you said: where were they when there were people (including babies) dying on the streets in new orleans? where are they when tons of illegal immigrants come sneaking in and taking over jobs the legal american citizens need?
