Yeah, it sucks. Just for those reasons, we keep 1 years worth of bills – any bills and at least 2 years of pay stubs. But recently we’ve started scanning all of our important documents in instead of keeping this giant filing cabinet. That really sucks man, I hope it all gets straightend out.

various medical documents, cost-of-living documents, etc……i’m guessing that they want me to prove that some exemptions are legit.

however, who the hell keeps utility, etc bills after they’ve paid them? i mean really?

guilty until proven innocent it seems w/ the bastards over @ the IRS.
