{"id":175,"date":"2004-08-21T12:21:00","date_gmt":"2004-08-21T19:21:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.audiomind.us\/blog\/?p=175"},"modified":"2012-01-05T10:26:16","modified_gmt":"2012-01-05T15:26:16","slug":"175","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.audiomind.us\/blog\/2004\/08\/21\/175\/","title":{"rendered":""},"content":{"rendered":"<p><font color=#ffcc00>Concerning the &#8220;separation of powers.&#8221; &nbsp; <\/p>\n<p><\/font><font face=\"Times New Roman\" size=3>It&#8217;s obvious that the Founding Fathers established three branches of government, the legislative, executive and judiciary, as a device to prevent a concentration of power. &nbsp;<\/font> <\/p>\n<p><font face=\"Times New Roman\" size=3>However, it&#8217;s not so obvious that they also established other spheres of separation of power, such as for religion and the press, which are sometimes referred to as the &#8220;Fourth&#8221; and &#8220;Fifth Estates.&#8221; &nbsp;Additionally, the 9th and 10th Amendments also refer to rights &#8220;reserved to the states respectively, or to the people&#8221;, which could be construed as creating sixth or seventh &#8220;estates&#8221;, &nbsp;yet more spheres for the separation of powers in order to prevent governmental tyranny. &nbsp;<\/font> <\/p>\n<p><font face=\"Times New Roman\" size=3>Beyond that I&#8217;d also argue for the existence of an &#8220;eighth estate&#8221;, namely the dictionary <\/font><font face=\"Times New Roman\" size=3>and the definitions of those words therein, that I also think should be beyond judicial\/legislative review. &nbsp;My dictionary defines most everything quite clearly and I reject the notion that any court should have jurisdiction to order the makers of dictionaries to change the definitions therein, especially when those definitions are the common understanding and intent of all the laws that have been heretofore passed with respect to the all institutions.<\/font> <\/p>\n<p><font face=\"Times New Roman\" size=3>To try to blur explicitly defined distinctions by legal trickery is not only unconscionable in itself, but it can only result in the meltdown of our capacity for intelligent thought to so muddle the plain meanings of the definitions in the dictionary as to obscure the very words that we use. &nbsp;<\/font> <\/p>\n<p><font face=\"Times New Roman\" size=3>Human intelligence is subject to many malfunctions and I pity the people [including myself] for the lunacy of its own government.<\/font> <\/p>\n<p><font face=\"Times New Roman\" size=3>In light of this concept I have decided to disavow any further acceptance of the English language, that which includes all those dictionaries that interpret those words contained within.
